Alyce Scrivner

For years, Alyce worked in the fast paced and rigorous world of fine restaurants. Incredibly good with people, motivated, and thorough, she worked her way up the management chain. But her mind for detail and natural curiosity to learn led her into the mortgage industry where we were able to hire her away. It took several months from the first interview to the first day, but looking back over her time with Finworth, it was worth the wait. A Kansas native and a graduate of Oklahoma State University. For the record, no one knows fine dining like Alyce – it is like having a restaurant guru co-worker! If you work with Finworth, you will likely interact in some way with Alyce – and you will no doubt be as charmed as we are. Her favorite phrase? “Done”

Steve Curnutte

If you have wondered where the word ‘Finworth’ came from – Steve can tell you. His grandfather’s middle name was Worthington (a long name for a welder from Kentucky). Take the ‘fin’ from financial and, well, you get the picture. Steve is fond of saying he has never had a job, but if you count the 4 or 5 companies he has started and sold since he graduated from Wake Forest 16 years ago, you will get a sense of his entrepreneurial spirit. Building Finworth into a company with the best reputation in the entire region has been his passion for years. In the past, he has owned a financial services business and a title company, so when he says that he takes a consultative or diagnostic approach to the high end mortgage market, you know it comes from a wide range of knowledge and experience.

Amber Dowd

In an industry that always seems to deal in big numbers, Amber Dowd is precisely the person you want on your side. Yes, she works with the big numbers like the rest of us, but it is the little numbers and the little things that make all the difference. Amber catches the mistakes. You know, the ones that lots of people just glaze over? You need someone like Amber to keep things in perspective. Is the title prepared precisely right? Do all the dates for the insurance line up properly? Are we doing everything we possibly can do to extract the absolute best value for our clients out of a scenario? Like we said, you want Amber on your side! An English Major in college, she is probably appalled at our grammar in this description. She often works behind the scenes so you may not get a chance to talk with her. But her value is immeasurable in your transaction. As with the others on our staff, she is at the core a principled and honorable person. A real gem.

Dave Coldiron

Many people feel like the mortgage process can be a hassle or even a scam. Many mortgage folks don’t do what they say they will do. But in the midst of all that, Dave Coldiron is nothing short of remarkable. He brings incredible discipline, focus, and honor to his work. Believe us when we say, you will not find a more professional and ethical person in the industry. He does everything to make sure the process is not a hassle. He walks you through the transaction and makes it transparent so you will have deep confidence in our integrity. Most importantly, he does what he says he will do, and delivers on time. A Western Kentucky grad who, after five years in the mortgage business, moved from Bowling Green to accept a position with Finworth. Has about 40 days worth of songs on his ipod (do you need that much Dave?). We are delighted to have his talent on our team. By the way, he might have the driest sense of humor out there.
